Any other questions or comments welcome also.  If you are attempting to identify a raptor, please give us as much information as you can about the bird.  Size relative to a crow, top wing color, underwing color, tail color and head color are all very helpful. Field marks are essential in identifying a raptor. Also include any flight behavior you may have noticed such as hovering (active flight in one spot) or kiting (appearing to stay in one place without flapping the wings).
